Side note, growing up, she lived three houses up from us on Commercial Street. We would bring her pears from the trees in our yard and she made the best pear preserves you could ever imagine. We would also spend afternoons playing dominos with her and Luther Day Bewley who she cared for in his later years. Fond memories. She was a sweetie. - Susan Parrett (Ingels)
